Why choose us?
Experience - Our bespoke days are always researched, planned and delivered by a qualified teacher and supported by experienced teachers and teaching assistants, all currently working in alternative and mainstream education settings.
Quality - Many of our days take place at a local cultural site, so our holiday clubs are like an exciting school trip, every day of the week.
Size - In contrast to the larger holiday camps where there can be upwards of 50 children attending, our days consist of between 10 and 20 children, ensuring a calm and less over-stimulating experience.
Variety - Rather than themed weeks, each day is different and designed to provide something for everyone. Areas of interest so far have included theatre, music, art, history, science, geography, forest school, beach school, physical activity, and studies of different cultures and traditions. Children can attend every day or pick and choose the trips they prefer.
Personal - Most of our children return time and again, so our houseparents are able to really get to know what makes them tick. For those who attend Bealings School (where many of our staff work), the relationships with staff are already formed and the Clubhouse becomes an extension of term-time. For those outside of this setting, new 'Housemates' are welcomed openly and staff make extra efforts to engage with the new children in order to form positive relationships quickly.
