Explore school dinners, past present and future at the UK's only food museum.
We'll take the train from Ipswich to Stowmarket, and then make the short walk along to the museum where we'll enjoy everything it has to offer.
Set across 84 acres of glorious Suffolk countryside, it has 17 fascinating buildings to explore and close to 40,000 objects in its collection – from wartime ration recipes to a full size steam-powered mill engine.
A first for the Clubhouse - this promises to be an interesting start to our Clubhouse summer!

Join us in this Blyton-esque setting for a day of friendship and play beneath the sun-dappled trees. We will have sole use of this beautiful private woodland in Tuddenham St Martin for a day of pond dipping and woodland activities and as much free play as the children would like.

Tuesday 25th August, 10 - 4, £40 per child
Become a sculptor for the day and explore the world of 3-dimensional artwork with us here at the Clubhouse. We'll have a taste of working with a variety of mediums and the children will be able to take their masterpieces home with them at the end of the day.
The usual Clubhouse play will be on offer in between activities and there'll be a trip to the local park for a picnic lunch and play.

Wednesday 26th August, 10 - 4, £45 per child
We are lucky to have our own private tour of the exhibition, 'The Moon: Our Nearest Neighbour', led by Suffolk Archive's Education Co-ordinator, Lucy Wall. After this we'll head into the visiting Wonderdome Planetarium where we'll be transported on a cosmic journey in an immersive 30 minute planetary show. We'll then walk over to Alexandra Park for lunch, play and a chance to wet felt our own planets to take home with us.
Includes return travel from Martlesham.
